A heart as big as he is tall, a very happy birthday to the galaxy’s favourite human tower, Peter Mayhew.

Recent news came out stating that Star Wars Ep VII shooting will be taking place in the UK. This obviously made me fantasize about the idea of being an extra in the movie, so I thought up this letter, based on recent events, to send to JJ. Whaddya think?

Big Star Wars fan Warwick Davis, born 1970, was only around 12 when he answered the call they put out of roles for little people in Return of the Jedi.
When day came to shoot Princess Leia during the Speeders scene and her meeting with ewok Wicket W. Warrick, Kenny Baker (R2D2), who was meant to play the latter role was ill. To his surprise, Warwick (ironically similar to the character’s name) was chosen to replace Kenny to play what turned to be the most popular character of the new alien race in the Star Wars franchise. Warwick claimed that some of Wicket’s mannerisms were inspired by his dog, such as the head tilt.
